In order for a hiring manager to understand your personality, he may ask you to undertake a psychometric test. These will help them understand your suitability in the company. However, they can be used against you and we compiled these tips to help you.

1 - BE TRUE
Don`t try to predict a suitable answer in giving yours. There are no good or bad answers, hence if you try to push yours, you may distort your personality.
2 - PRACTICE
There are many websites which offer you the option of practising online such psychometrics tests. Googling "psychometrics tests" will help you find a few to practice before the real thing.
3 - TAKE IT EASY
Many tests will time your answers. Answering very fast won`t help you. Calm down, think twice before submitting an answer and then submit it. You must also take the test in conditions suitable for you; ie when you have free time to take it, and not when you have to do other things, like supervise kids.
4 - READ BEFORE FINALISING
Some tests require you to put some words in an order. As previously said, read twice and even three times the question and think it through before submitting your answer.
5 - REVIEW ANSWERS
